This pairing does two jobs in one session. Ultrasonic cavitation uses low-frequency sound waves to disrupt localised fat cells, which the body then clears through its lymphatic system. Radiofrequency follows to heat the dermis and tighten the skin over the treated area, so contours smooth rather than soften.
We want to be clear about what this is and is not. It is a contouring treatment for stubborn, localised pockets on someone already close to their target weight. It is not a weight-loss treatment, and we will say so at consultation rather than sell you a course that cannot deliver.

No. Most patients find it comfortable — a warm sensation with a high-pitched sound in the ear during the cavitation pass. There is no numbing and no recovery.
The disrupted cells are cleared, but remaining fat cells can enlarge again if your weight increases. Results hold well with stable weight and activity, and we are explicit about that before you begin a course.
We avoid it in pregnancy and breastfeeding, and in patients with liver or kidney disease, pacemakers or metal implants in the area, or certain other conditions. Your history is reviewed properly before we treat.
