Does a carbon laser facial hurt?

Most patients feel a light snapping sensation and warmth, similar to a rubber band flick with a warm undertone. No numbing cream is normally required and the whole session takes about 40 minutes.

Is carbon laser safe for brown skin?

Yes, when the settings are correct. We calibrate energy and pulse duration for Fitzpatrick III–V skin specifically. This is precisely where an unsupervised salon laser causes burns and pigmentation.

How is it different from a chemical peel?

A peel works chemically and usually causes shedding over a few days. Carbon laser works with light and carbon, cleans deeper into the pore, and leaves no visible peeling — so it suits patients who cannot take downtime.

Will it stop my skin from being oily permanently?

No treatment permanently changes your oil production, and we will not claim otherwise. A course brings oil under noticeably better control, and maintenance sessions keep it there.
